Experienced Care for Every Smile

From your very first visit, you'll be in the hands of a skilled, compassionate team that genuinely cares about your comfort and your health. Our dental providers bring decades of combined experience — from community health to clinical instruction to specialized patient care — and they share one goal: making dental care something you can feel good about. Whether you're coming in for a routine cleaning or haven't seen a dentist in years, we'll meet you where you are.

Meet the Dental Team

Dr. Brian Holmes, DMD, MPH, FAGD, FICD

Dental Director

With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Holmes has served patients across private practice, community health centers, and school-based programs. His work helped reduce childhood tooth decay throughout Oregon, and he founded an international nonprofit that established school-based dental clinics in Grenada — bringing care to children with limited access to dental services. At NBHCP, Dr. Holmes leads our dental team with a clear focus: prevention, education, and compassionate care for every patient who walks through our doors.

Meet the Dental Team

Marissa, RDH, MS

Registered Dental Hygienist

Marissa holds a Master's degree in Dental Hygiene and a Bachelor's degree in Community and Human Services, and brings 10 years of clinical experience to her role. Her graduate research focused on the care of dentally anxious patients — a reflection of her commitment to making every visit feel comfortable and supportive. Marissa was drawn to NBHCP's mission and to the coastal community's charm, and she is passionate about delivering patient-centered care to everyone she serves.

Fun fact: Marissa spent three months exploring Europe and loves hearing travel stories and recommendations — so feel free to share your favorites at your next appointment!

Meet the Dental Team

Loretta

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Loretta brings over 30 years of dental experience to the NBHCP team, with deep expertise in clinical instruction, team training, and dental program development. She was drawn to NBHCP for the opportunity to help build something meaningful from the ground up — and her passion for community-centered care makes her an invaluable part of our growing dental clinic.

Fun fact: Loretta is happiest outdoors and spending time near the water — which makes the Oregon coast a pretty perfect fit.

Meet the Dental Team

Kylie

Registered Dental Assistant

Kylie is a Registered Dental Assistant with experience in both clinical care and front office support. Growing up in a small community, she has always valued building real relationships with patients and helping make dental care more accessible. At NBHCP, she looks forward to contributing to a team where that same community-first spirit guides everything.

Fun fact: Kylie has two dogs — Duck the yellow lab and Pepper the Dachshund — and a background in barrel racing and rodeo. She loves animals, the outdoors, and a little bit of adrenaline.

An Integral Part of Your Care Team

Our pharmacy isn't just a place to pick up prescriptions — it's a connected part of your NBHCP care. Our pharmacists work directly with your primary care, dental, and behavioral health providers, so every member of your team has a complete picture of your medications and health needs.
