Welcome Back to the NKN Student Health & Wellness Center

School is back in session at Neah-Kah-Nie, and we’re excited to welcome students and staff back to the NKN Student Health & Wellness Center for the 2026–27 school year.

‍

Located inside Neah-Kah-Nie High School, the Student Health & Wellness Center makes medical and behavioral health services more accessible to students throughout the Neah-Kah-Nie School District. The center is also available to NKN School District staff.

‍

Whether you need a sports physical, care for an illness or minor injury, behavioral health support, or simply have a health question, our team is here to help.

Services Available

‍

Services available through the NKN Student Health & Wellness Center include:

• Routine and preventive health care
• Sick visits and care for minor injuries
• Sports physicals
• Immunizations and vaccines
• Routine lab testing
• Medication and prescription support
• Health screenings and education
• Age-appropriate reproductive and sexual health services
• Behavioral health counseling and wellness support
• Referrals for additional healthcare services when needed

Hours of Operation

Wednesday & Thursday

Medical Services: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Behavioral Health: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Closed for lunch: 12:30–1:30 p.m.

Behavioral health services are also available at elementary school locations on Fridays:

Garibaldi Grade School
Friday: 8:30–11:30 a.m.

‍

Nehalem Elementary School
Friday: 1:00–4:00 p.m.

‍

The Student Health & Wellness Center is closed when school is closed, including holidays, school breaks and weather-related closures.

Meet the Care Team

‍

Medical services are provided by members of the Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy care team, including Tami Martin, FNP, and Eli Andersen, ND.

‍

Emily Boers, LCSW, provides behavioral health services and works with students on a wide range of emotional, behavioral and wellness needs.

‍

The health center team works together to help students access the care and support they need while making healthcare more convenient for NKN families.
